Need Feedback on Student Film
ok so my friend she made this film it one some type of award....she wants to get get some opinions and comments on what different folk think of it.

i didn't really understand it, but she(?) did match the movements/steps of the guy pretty well to the music, so it was pretty cool.

Where does she go to film school? Her video reminds of the stuff that comes out of UCLA film school. USC is all about commercial filmmaking. UCLA is a lot about experimental filmmaking.
Was the award she won a Spotlight Award and was her film showcased with about 9 to 10 others at the Academy? If so, then she's at UCLA (who incidentally won their second round in the NCAA basketball tournament tonight in an amazing nail biting final 58 seconds). That said... I liked her film. She's got a good sense of timing. That's a true talent. I liked her editing and the stationary cam thing she used. I liked how she played with color... the jackets, color to b&w and day to night. I would have liked to see "shocks" of more color as long as she was playing with it. But... oh well. It took Van Gogh five years after he first started drawing to attempt color... he was so frightened of it, so I give her the benefit of the Van Gogh doubt and a little more time.
